ASOI's working group took part in the online workshop: "Organization of WBL for students: experience of Russian universities"

                                                        


Last year ASOI joined an international consortium and is now a full partner of the project: "From University to the labor market in the 21st century: a step forward in employment". On June 29 was held national online workshop "Organization of WBL for students: experience of Russian universities" within the framework of the international project UniLab Erasmus+. ASOI's working group, headed by acting rector Alexey Ivanov, also attended online workshop. The main purpose of this workshop was to improve WBL programs for students, develop the competencies of students and graduates in accordance to the requirements of the modern labor market.

The event was also attended by representatives of companies and partners of the Institute – PJSC TATANEFT, Mirrico group, Tatgras LLC, Alnas LLC and SPF Paker LLC.

Participants of the workshop worked in various focus groups, discussed the problems of organizing WBL from the perspective of employers, students and universities. As a result, it was proposed to make changes in the program of WBL, namely, to include additional modules to develop among students general professional and communication skills, to introduce into the educational process the organization of workshops, solving cases and production tasks, open lectures from managers and leading specialists of industry enterprises.

The participants paid special attention to the experience of PJSC TATNEFT in organizing project activities involving students and teachers in the "Vproecte” program, as an example of successful WBL of the engagement students in the corporate culture and production system of the Company, solving business problems, adapting students to the requirements of the employer and further employment.
